I’ve always enjoyed the end of year wrap-ups — top songs, movies, news stories, restaurants, dishes, chefs, etc. In that spirit, I compiled a collage of photos, a memory lane of what I cooked in 2013.  It was a busy year to say the least.

While there were quite a few dishes devoted to seafood, I did my best to expand my horizons.  There was rabbit, whole roasted duck and chicken, beef tongue sliders, goat tacos (I even experimented with pig’s ears, though am still working on perfecting those ears.), fresh sardines, of course :-), house-cured gravlax and anchovies, lots of vegetables and salads, homemade noodles, pasta, and dumplings, homemade bread, various soups and stews — not to mention the numerous ideas floating around my head I’ve yet to try. To be continued in 2014….

Hope your 2014 is filled with good food and friends and family with whom to share your creations.

Cheers and Happy New Year!
